International Programming Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest at HUB

On 25 May, the spring round of the annual International Programming Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest 2024 by DataArt took place. This year, 1526 participants from 45 countries joined the competition.

For the second year in a row, the contest has been held at the Educational and Cultural Hub of Kherson State University in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The official part of the event was broadcast from offline locations where the Olympiad will be held. Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi greeted the participants from the KSU office in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The participants are divided into three categories, which they determined themselves. The task level depends on the category. The goal is to solve 13 algorithmic problems in 42 minutes.

1 amateurs - 1248 people
2 professionals - 214 people
3 superheroes - 64 people.

Proggy-Buggy Contest has been held every autumn since 2014 and has already brought together more than 10,000 participants from 60 countries. The spring Towel Contest tournament allows participants to practice solving problems before the official competition in autumn.
