On October 11, 2024, the Kherson State University Chess Championship was held among university degree holders. The competition was organized by the head of the Department of Medical and Biological Basics of Physical Education and Sports, Serhiy Goliaka. This competition interested the youth of the university, who took an active part.
The competition was held on the Lichess.org platform. According to the results of the competitions:
And the first among young men was chosen by a student of the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics, Semenukh Nikita;
The first place among girls is Margarita Mazurtsova, a student of the Faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology.
