Tuesday, November 19, 2024

Polina Yashna, a student of the Medical Faculty of Kherson State University, took part in the AMU International Autumn School “Introduction to Negotiation and Process Management” in the picturesque town of Poronin near Zakopane, Poland.

The school is held in the framework of the BNI-UE-2023-23: Cooperation of Adam Mickiewicz University with Ukrainian universities within the framework of the Alliance of European Universities. The school lasts a week: from November 13 to 19.

“The program began with a presentation of Adam Mickiewicz University delivered by Professor Rafał Dymczyk. We learned about the university’s history, values, initiatives, and the EPICUR project. After a short break, the professor conducted a lecture on 'Introduction to Negotiations.' It was fascinating to explore the basic principles, features, and practical aspects of negotiation, which will be useful in our future careers. Everyone listened with great interest and asked questions,” said Polina Yashna, a student of Kherson State University.

Polina is a fourth-year student majoring in “Medicine”. She said that the atmosphere at the event was incredible, and the cozy autumn entourage added a special charm.

It was also a pleasant surprise that the organizers presented each participant with laptops.

This is a gift from Adam Mickiewicz University to support Ukrainian universities, which has become another expression of solidarity and support for our country,” said Polina Yashna.
