Kherson State University

Students of Kherson State University have the opportunity to participate in a semester exchange program at the Pomeranian University during the II semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, according to the selected study program.

Eligible students: those who are in their 2nd year or higher.

Students from the following faculties can apply for the exchange program:

• Faculty of Biology, Geography, and Ecology (fields of study: "Biology," "Ecology," "Earth Sciences," "Geography")
• Pedagogical Faculty (fields of study: "Preschool Education," "Primary Education," "Special Education")
• Faculty of Business and Law (fields of study: "Finance, Banking, and Insurance," "Management," "Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Stock Exchange," "Law," "Tourism")
• Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology and Journalism (fields of study: "Secondary Education (English Language and Literature)," "Secondary Education (German Language and Literature)," "Philology (German Languages and Literatures, including Translation)")
• Faculty of Culture and Arts (field of study: "Music Art")
• Faculty of Psychology, History, and Sociology (fields of study: "History and Archaeology," "Psychology," "Sociology," "Social Work")
• Faculty of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics (fields of study: "Software Engineering," "Computer Science," "Information Systems and Technologies")

Language of Instruction: Polish (except for philology programs).

Tuition: free of charge.

Accommodation: 150 PLN per month (in university dormitory).

Travel and Food: covered by the students.

Study Period: February 2025 – June 2025.

Steps to Apply:

1. Write a statement for the semester exchange and obtain approval from your faculty dean.
• A sample statement can be obtained from the Department of International Initiatives and Project Management ().
2. Required Documents:
• International passport (scan).
• Photo.
• List of selected courses from the course catalog (30 credits minimum; courses to be chosen and agreed upon with faculty leadership).
• Application form for the semester exchange (available after registration on the Pomeranian University website. To be filled out with a representative from the Department of International Initiatives and Project Management at KSU).
• Dormitory accommodation form (if you require a place in the dormitory).

A list of available courses will be sent to students and faculty leadership upon request.

Application Deadline: December 4, 2024.

Registration on the Pomeranian University website begins in December.
