On February 7, 2025, the traditional meeting of the Stakeholder Council for the Preschool Education and Primary Education specialties took place at the Faculty of Education. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Lyubov Petukhova, educational program guarantors, the Dean’s Assistant for Internships, department heads, the First Deputy Head of the Kherson City Council's Department of Education, Svitlana Omelchuk, as well as heads of preschool institutions and principals of general secondary education institutions in Kherson.
Lyubov Petukhova noted that the University has fully adapted to remote and blended learning formats and is exploring new forms of interaction for recruiting first-year students. She also outlined the challenges faced by Kherson State University, particularly the Faculty of Education.
Olena Anisimova and Anastasiia Horlova presented the results of a survey conducted among educational institution administrations and focused on proposals to improve communication. Svitlana Omelchuk discussed the importance of cooperation and mutual support among educators, especially in the context of the survey findings. She emphasized the need for feedback and suggestions from the Faculty and highlighted the importance of communication and information exchange, such as sharing videos, through their Facebook and Telegram pages.
The meeting turned into an engaging discussion among a team of like-minded individuals, resulting in concrete decisions and agreements on further collaboration. Only together can we make the world a better place!
