KSU Opens the Friedrich Fröbel Educational Center: Education That Shapes the Future

Today, on February 25, 2025, something that seemed impossible just a few years ago has happened within the walls of Kherson State University. Despite all the difficulties, challenges, and trials, our university has proven that education knows no borders, and true educators always move forward. That is why the opening of the Friedrich Fröbel Educational Center is not just an event but a symbol of our resilience. "We act, therefore we exist!" – Friedrich Fröbel's words sounded particularly sharp and inspiring today.

The official ceremony gathered those who work daily to ensure that Ukrainian education remains high-quality, modern, and accessible. Among the honored guests were Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytskyi and the rectors of higher education institutions from Ivano-Frankivsk.

This center is more than just a classroom. It is a place where ideas are born, professionals grow, and the future of pedagogy takes shape. Its mission is to support the educational programs of the Faculty of Pedagogy, covering preschool, primary, and special education. It is a hub of inspiration where students can learn, research, and create.

The three main areas of the Center:

• Innovative NUS Classroom – a model educational space that embodies the principles of the New Ukrainian School. Here, students master modern teaching methods, interactive technologies, and creative approaches to education.
• Friedrich Fröbel and His Gifts Center – the heart of the Center, where the ideas of the great educator come to life. Through play and specially designed educational materials, future teachers will experience the magic of learning that nurtures a child’s personality.
• Interactive Floor – an innovative tool that makes learning engaging. This is not just technology – it is a bridge between modernity and children's imagination.

Even greater opportunities lie ahead! The Educational Center will continue to develop, introducing more interactive methods that make learning accessible, effective, and exciting.
