Master's student in the specialty 016 Special Education Kateryna Radionova shared her impressions:

"This was my first youth exchange experience, and it exceeded all my expectations! I met Croatians, Tunisians, Romanians, Bulgarians, Dutch, Georgians - we spent every day together: creating and adapting various activities for people with psychophysical disabilities, playing the same games, but according to the rules of different countries. In addition to studying, we had a lot of rest, explored the area, traveled around the Netherlands, canoed, played tennis, laughed a lot and shared stories of our lives. It was the friendliest, warmest, happiest meeting, and I am infinitely grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project!"

The youth exchange was aimed at developing inclusion as a natural component of society and raising awareness about the rights of people with disabilities. Participants from different countries discussed the possibilities of active citizenship and jointly planned future inclusive youth initiatives within the framework of Erasmus+. Particular attention was paid to combating stereotypes and broadening the worldview of young people.

An important component of the exchange will be the implementation by selected participants of one local event (offline or online) on the topic of the project.

For reference: The Erasmus+ program is an initiative of the European Union aimed at supporting educational, youth and sports projects. Youth exchanges allow young people to gain new knowledge, broaden their worldview and improve intercultural dialogue. The youth exchange was implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Public Association for Active Youth Stella (the organization is a member of the volunteer networks Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organizations and Service Civil International)
