Tartu (University of Tartu) (Tartu, Tartu) Study Visit

From March 10 to March 14, a study visit to Estonia within the Erasmus Project+ Burn-"Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post-) War UKRAINIAN Nation" ("Strengthening of Psychological Stands and War). Participants from five Ukrainian universities and three European universities (University of Tartu, IPU, UL) exchange experience and get acquainted with European approaches to psychological support at universities. From the Kherson State University, the visit is attended by: Tatiana Korniychuk-Head of the Center for Psychological Stability and Well-being (CPSB), Maria Postteket-Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology, Office Manager of the Project.

On the first day of the PIRT Tatunts internship (HR Development Manager of the Tartu University Department) and Anna Gramburg (Specialist in Welfare at the Institute of Education) presented as a university supporting the well -being of mental health of workers and students.
After that, Jüri Allik Academician, a professor of experimental psychology, introduced the work of the Institute of Psychology, where we studied the evolution of psychological education in Estonia. The main focus is on overcoming the Soviet heritage and updating of the academic programs of the bachelor's and master's degree. Trin Lin (Head of Scientific Work, Teacher of Cognitive and School Psychology) and Pirko Töugu (Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology of Development and Cognitive Abilities, Head of the Master's Program "Psychology") told in detail about the restructuring of educational programs and renewal of the institution of education at all levels of education.
Clinical psychologist Kätlin Anni has provided the latest research on personal profiles of 263 professions and the use of genetic data over 200,000 Estonians.
The key to discussion was the transformation of psychodiagnostic instruments in psychological science. The use of educational materials in English is critical for modern specialists, which allows you to coordinate training with international standards and research.
Exchange of experience with European partners will help to improve the work of the Center for Psychological Stability and Welfare of the KSU to support our students and teachers even more effectively.
