Innovations in the 2025 Admission Campaign

The Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee of KSU, Yuriy Yurchuk, shared insights on the innovations in the 2025 admission campaign. He noted that this year’s campaign will differ slightly from the previous one. The key changes include:

– Modification of the list of specialties receiving special support, specifically the addition of A6.02 (Special Education – Correctional Psychopedagogy), which is offered at KSU;

– Creative competitions and physical ability tests will be conducted exclusively in person (exceptions will be made for applicants from temporarily occupied territories and those taking the National Multisubject Test (NMT) abroad in 2025);

– Additional admission waves will be conducted until October 20;

– When allocating licensed spots for regulated specialties, places for reinstatement must be provided;

– A professional assessment has been introduced for specialty B11 Philology (except for B11.01).

Yuriy Yurchuk also emphasized that the list of specialties requiring the Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE) for admission has been expanded this year. This also applies to creative specialties. In other words, for some master's programs, applicants will need to take, in addition to the Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) and the UPEE, a professional exam.

PhD and Doctoral Programs

As Yuriy Yurchuk commented, admission to PhD and doctoral programs will begin on September 3, with enrollment starting on September 30. Specifically, admission to PhD programs will require not only the Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) but also a UPEE assessment in research methodology as a prerequisite for entrance exams. Additionally, for the first time this year, the application process is planned to be conducted through electronic applicant accounts.

Yuriy Yurchuk also added that KSU's admission regulations must be approved by March 28.
