KDU representatives completed a visit to Estonia within the Erasmus+ Burn project

From March 10 to March 14, a training visit within the project of the Erasmus+ Burn-“Boosting University Psychological Resiliens and Wellbeing in (Post-) War UKRAINIAN NATION (“ Increasing psychological stability and well-being universities (after- ” Tartu, Tallinn, Estonia).

Participants from five Ukrainian universities and three European universities (University of Tartu, IPU, Ul) exchanged experience and got acquainted with European approaches to psychological support at universities. From Kherson State University, the visit was attended by: Tatiana Korniychuk - Head of the Center for Psychological Stability and Well -being (CPSB); Maria Postet-Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology, Office Manager of the Project.
The visit was focused on the work of the consulting center of the Tartu University, the provision of psychological services and professional development of specialists.
Purpose of the study visit:
✔ Familiarity with the cooperation model between the Consulting Center and the Department of Psychology of Tartu University.
✔ Deepening understanding of approaches to work with trauma.
✔ Expanding the professional competences of psychologists through acquaintance with the methods of art therapy in the field of psychological support.
Learning results:
● Complex and deeper perception of the consultation center, its approaches and services provided.
● Mastering supervisory techniques and strategies.
● Strengthening self -help and increased emotional stability.
● Improving the skills of working with clients who have undergone traumatic experience.
● Familiarity with the methods of using music therapy and art therapy.
● Development of ideas for the creation and organization of the psychological support service at universities.
This training has expanded the professional capabilities of the specialists of the Center for Psychological Stability and Well -being, allowing you to introduce modern methods of supporting students and teachers.
