This is an opportunity to work on your research in one of the EU research institutes: New Europe College in Bucharest (Romania) or the Centre for Advanced Studies in Sofia (Bulgaria). You will receive a monthly stipend of €850, a comfortable workspace, and access to all the resources of the institution.
You will spend up to ten months abroad - from October 2025 to March 2026.
The scholarship is organised by the New Europe College in Bucharest in cooperation with the Centre for Advanced Studies in Sofia. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

How to apply?This scholarship is for Ukrainian scholars who- have a PhD in the humanities or social sciences;- live in cities affected by the Russian invasion;- have a good command of English.
