Representatives of KSU Joined a Meeting with the Coordinator of the Academis4Ukraine Project
On July 26, the team of Kherson State University met with the coordinator of the “Academis4Ukraine” project under the Erasmus+ program (KA220-HED - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education), Gianluca Vagnarelli, a representative of the i-strategies company.
"In addition to discussing the progress of our current project, which focuses on academic resilience, Gianluca Vagnarelli proposed an idea for a future cooperation project between Italian and Ukrainian universities within the framework of Ukraine’s post-war recovery. This is a great initiative!" emphasized KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.
He highlighted that a key aspect of this initiative could be the development of digital infrastructure in universities. This is particularly relevant now, during martial law, as many Ukrainians are dispersed around the world, and due to various factors, education is conducted in a hybrid format. It is essential to ensure high-quality education that meets stakeholders' expectations and remains competitive.
"On the other hand, the availability of digital infrastructure will ensure the sustainable operation of relocated universities during post-war recovery. While quickly restoring physical infrastructure and bringing people back may not be feasible, a digital infrastructure integrated with artificial intelligence will enable the delivery of high-quality educational services and the formation of human capital for regional recovery. We are sincerely grateful to our international partners for their willingness to continue and expand our collaboration," added Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.
