On April 2, the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University was visited by distinguished guests - Director of the National Erasmus+ Agency in Portugal Luís Alveis, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine Svitlana Shytikova, Leading Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine Kateryna Zhdanova.

KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi told how the university lives and works, introduced the history of the university through the gallery of rectors who have headed our institution since its founding.

Vice-Rector Veronika Denysenko presented the international and humanitarian directions, Vice-Rector Oleksandr Lemeshchuk informed about the development of digital infrastructure. The guests also visited the personnel department, the archive, where documents stored and evacuated from Kherson are located.

Vice-Rector Veronika Denysenko, Head of the Department of International Initiatives and Project Activities Yevheniya Revenko, Department employees Alina Glushko, Darya Kuznetsova and Head of the Humanitarian Department Anna Suprun joined the Information Day of the EU Erasmus+ Program “Building Connections between Ukraine and Portugal”, which was held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

During the event, Luís Alveys shared his country’s experience in youth mobility, the specifics of implementing projects in the field of education and opportunities for Ukrainian youth organizations within the framework of Erasmus+. He emphasized that cooperation between Ivano-Frankivsk and Braga can become an example of effective international partnership.

The event program also included the following presentations:

Overview of 40 current competitions of the EU Erasmus+ Program for Ukrainian participants.
Discussion of opportunities for cooperation, partnerships and communication of project ideas between Ukraine and Portugal.
Presentation of European platforms and professional networks in the field of education and youth work.

The event ended with a lively discussion, during which the participants were able to exchange views, share ideas for future initiatives and discuss the prospects for the development of joint projects.

"International activity is one of the priority areas of the university's development, so we are interested in new opportunities and partnerships," emphasized Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
