And once again, the Faculty of Business and Law is in Ivano-Frankivsk!

Participants of the event are students enrolled in the following educational programs:

  • Finance, Banking, and Insurance

  • Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activities

  • Economics

  • Management

  • Hotel and Restaurant Management

  • Tourism and Recreation

  • Law

  • Professional Education

Future managers are just arriving in Ivano-Frankivsk — they’ve already started soaking in the city’s atmosphere and planning their week. Meanwhile, students from the Tourism and Hotel & Restaurant Management programs dove straight into development activities:

They met with the head of the Department of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Business,

discussed their plans for the week at the university’s new coworking space,

and visited the Laboratory of Restaurant Technologies at 10 Mazepa Street — a place where theory turns into practice.

At the same time, students of "Finance, Banking, and Insurance", "Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activities", "Economics", and "Management" took part in a financial quest that turned exploring Ukraine’s banking system into an engaging game.

It wasn’t just a walk, but an educational route filled with challenges, clues, and research stops. The quest led participants to key banking institutions in Ivano-Frankivsk: Oschadbank, PrivatBank, and Raiffeisen Bank Aval.

🏛 One of the most impressive stops was the historic Raiffeisen Bank Aval building on Hrushevsky Street — one of the oldest financial structures in the city. Since the late 19th century, banking institutions have operated there; it was the site of the first Austrian bank in Stanislaviv (the old name of Ivano-Frankivsk). The building still features elements of Secessionist architecture mixed with Historicism.

🔍 During the quest, teams had to answer questions like:

  • Which bank was the first in Ukraine to launch a full-featured mobile app?

  • Which state-owned bank has the most branches?

  • What was Raiffeisen Bank Aval called before rebranding?

  • How old is the building you're standing in front of? (Hint: Over 120 years!)

  • What are the functions of the National Bank, and how does it differ from commercial banks?

📸 And of course, plenty of photos! Each bank was a “checkpoint” — and documenting your presence earned you bonus points 💼

А після квесту — прогулянка містом, знайомство з вуличками старого центру та, звісно, смачна кава.

After the quest, students enjoyed a city walk, explored the old town streets, and, naturally, treated themselves to some delicious coffee.

We bring together students from different fields — finance, trade, economics, management, hospitality, tourism, and law — to create a new standard of Ukrainian education together. The Faculty of Business and Law is not just about knowledge — it’s about experience, teamwork, growth, and trust.

Tomorrow promises to be just as exciting — stay tuned!
