Admissions to Master's and PhD programs: what you need to know

In 2025, admission to a master's degree program will traditionally be based on the results of a single entrance exam (SEE) and a single professional entrance test (SPET).

Wednesday, April 23, 2025

In 2025, admission to a master's degree program will traditionally be based on the results of the Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) and the Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE). Last year, the list of subject tests for the USEE included eight titles. This year, the Linguistics and Art History tests have been added to the list.

Also this year, for the first time, the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment will conduct a single entrance test in research methodology (EQA). It will be open to those wishing to enroll for a Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Arts degree. It should be noted that in addition to the ERM, they, like applicants to the Master's program, also need to pass the EVI.

To find out how to register for the entrance exams, where and when the tests will take place, what the EMI, EFL and EQE will be, and how the results will be determined, join the live broadcast on our YouTube channel on April 28 at 15:00. During the broadcast, the heads of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment Tetiana Vakulenko, Valerii Boiko and Nataliia Yur will tell about all the details of the entrance exams for master's and PhD programs and answer the most common questions.

You can send your questions to the speakers by 11:00 a.m. on April 28 via the link.
