Friday, April 25, 2025

The academic event was held in a hybrid format — both at the newly established coworking space of the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University and on the Zoom platform.

The participants of the conference were welcomed by the Rector of Kherson State University, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.

"I am pleased that the conference is being held in a new location, which confirms our university’s continuous progress. This year, more than 150 abstracts were submitted. It is symbolic that our partners include colleagues from King Danylo University, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, and Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. Many young researchers are participating, including students of our university.

I would like to thank the head of the organizing committee, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law Kateryna Melnykova, all participants, and esteemed guests for their commitment to advancing Ukrainian science, which forms the foundation for the development of the economy, business, and the rebuilding of Ukraine and our native Kherson region," emphasized Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.

The Rector also presented the academic title of Associate Professor to Anna Chmut, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics, Management, and Administration, and wished her continued scientific success, encouraging her to keep moving forward and maintain balance.

Vice-Rector for International, Social, Humanitarian, and Educational Work of KSU, Veronika Denysenko, wished the attendees success in unlocking their scientific potential:
"Your faculty has enormous potential for self-expression. You are open and sincere, with excellent communication both among your team and with your students. I wish you success in your academic work and new achievements."

Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Volodymyr Klyutsevskyi, joined the conference from the unconquered territory of Kherson region – the village of Vysokopillia. He emphasized the importance of such events and wished everyone productive work.

"I am convinced that the synergy of science, government, business, and civil society will be productive. We cannot move forward without education, because only together can we develop clear guidelines and thoroughly work out the paths for further development, avoiding past mistakes in rebuilding the Kherson region," emphasized Volodymyr Klyutsevskyi.

The attendees were also greeted by Khrystyna Terletska, Acting Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at King Danylo University. She wished the participants fruitful work and expressed hope that the developed projects would be implemented jointly.

Natalia Bashuryn, Deputy Director of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, stated:

"Your example is a testament to the resilience of Ukrainian science and the spirit of unity that brings us all together for the sake of victory and the restoration of Ukraine. I sincerely wish the participants fruitful work, engaging discussions, and new scientific ideas. May this conference become another important step towards our common goal — the establishment of a rule-of-law state and the development of Ukrainian science."

Professor Vasyl Stratonav of the Department of National, International Law, and Law Enforcement at KSU thanked colleagues from Ivano-Frankivsk for their friendly support, inspiration, and respect. He also expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Kherson State University, particularly to Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, for developing the institution and preserving its Kherson identity during extremely challenging times.

"This conference has become a tradition. It is encouraging to see that the number of submitted abstracts continues to grow. Today, students together with their academic supervisors are identifying issues that must be addressed in the future — the post-war reconstruction of the country. The faculty is paying significant attention to this matter," said Vasyl Stratonav and wished everyone a constructive discussion.

After the plenary session presentations, the participants began working in the following breakout sections:

  • Innovative Aspects of Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship in the Context of Sustainable Development

  • Economics and Management: Synergy for Sustainable Development

  • Hospitality Industry: Integration of Business and Cultural Aspects

  • Current Issues in Law and Law Enforcement During Wartime and Post-War Periods
