We invite everyone to the presentation of the book “The Liberated Map. Directory of New Geonyms of the Kherson Community” (2025).
At the presentation, we will talk about the results of the renaming in Kherson, the future of Kherson toponymy and toponymic research.
Kherson historians, geographers and local historians – Mykola Homanyuk, Dementiy Bily, Natalia Kuzovova – will speak at the presentation.
The event is held at the initiative of the Faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology of KhSU, the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology of KhSU, and the Kherson branch of the Sociological Association of Ukraine.
