On May 15, Professor of the Department Oleksandr Cheremisin joined the work of the XIII All-Ukrainian Symposium on Agrarian History, organized by the scientific community of the Cherkasy National University named after B. Khmelnytsky, which brought together researchers from different regions of the country.As part of the event, Oleksandr Viktorovych presented a report and presentation of scientific research on the topic: "Peasantry of the Right-Bank Kherson Region during the Temporary Occupation in 2022."
"In his work, he relied on the methodology of oral history, which allowed him to convey the living voices of eyewitnesses, comprehend the experiences of rural communities, and preserve the memory of this dramatic period of our modern history.
I especially appreciate the opportunity to be part of a professional discussion, which today is not only academic, but also deeply nationally significant. Coverage of such topics is extremely necessary for the formation of national historical consciousness and the cultivation of the dignity of the Ukrainian village," said Oleksandr Viktorovych.
