‘When There is No Knocking on the Door is a book about life under Russian occupation, co-authored by KSU students. Recently, Valentyna Pestushko (Fedorchuk), a 3rd year student majoring in Journalism at the Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology and Journalism, took part in the book's presentation in Izmail. The collection was presented to students of the Izmail State University of the Humanities.
‘For me, this collection became an opportunity to capture the emotions I felt after leaving the occupation in the text, because over time, some moments are erased from memory. I would like you to know about the occupation only from this book. I am sure that it will help you better understand the people who survived the horrors of the occupation and share their experience,’ Valentyna addressed the audience with these words.
In the near future, presentations of the collection are planned in different cities of Ukraine, with the participation of other co-authors who are students of Kherson State University.
