👩‍🏫 On 13 May, Assistant Rector for Internationalisation Alla Tsapiv took part in a three-day Erasmus+ workshop in Vienna (Austria) on academic mobility in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) in higher education.

📊 The participants were presented with a study by the Institute of Higher Education in Vienna on student mobility: age, academic disciplines, gender balance, and the share of foreign students in Austrian universities. The main barriers include financial difficulties, the risk of losing a job, family circumstances, and low motivation.

📚 During the event, ways to stimulate mobility were discussed: teaching STEM disciplines in English 🇬🇧 and the introduction of dual education (combining study and work). Participants shared their own stories and practical cases 💡.
