Teaching subjects in English has become an important part of the educational process at the Faculty of Business and Law, meeting modern requirements for training specialists in economics and management.

In the first semester, third-year students of the Management educational program studied the Performance Management course (taught by Kateryna Sinyakova), which combined theoretical foundations with practical case studies. As part of the course, students:

participated in an international scientific and practical conference;

prepared and published abstracts in English;

took an online course on the Udemy platform, developing both professional and language skills.

The bilingual course “Management of Foreign Economic Activity” (instructor — Anna Chmut) helped students master not only the basic principles of international trade, but also the professional English terminology necessary for effective work in an international environment.

In the second semester, English-language classes were held in a number of disciplines:

Business Statistics – lecture on “Types of Statistical Graphs” (lecturer – Anna Chmut);

Microeconomics – lecture on “Demand, Supply, and Market Equilibrium” (lecturer – Anna Chmut);

World Tourism and Hotel Industry – lecture on “Promotion of a Tourist Product in International Tourism” (lecturer – Alona Sorokina).

Thanks to this approach, students not only acquire professional knowledge, but also prepare for the challenges of the globalized labor market. The faculty continues to support bilingual education as an effective tool for improving the quality of education and developing soft skills in young people.

In the next academic year, it is planned to expand this experience by teaching a number of compulsory educational components in English for students of various specialties and courses.
