Kherson State University

A working visit of the delegation from Kherson State University (KSU) to the Université Côte d’Azur (France) has begun, supported by the Erasmus+ programme.

The delegation includes Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy, Vice-Rectors Oleksandr Lemeshchuk and Veronika Denysenko, Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty Liubov Petukhova, and Head of the International Initiatives and Project Management Department Yevheniia Revenko.

The KSU team is taking part in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) held within the framework of the International Week of Digitalisation 2025, organised by the Université Côte d’Azur.

The event gathers participants from 35 countries and 65 universities, focusing on digital transformation in higher education.

This programme, aimed at both academic and administrative staff, offers a unique platform to connect with colleagues from around the world to discuss the evolving digital environment in higher education. By combining theoretical knowledge, experience-sharing, and practical collaboration, participants explore key trends and technologies shaping the future of education

A presentation by the European University Foundation (EUF) was already delivered by representatives of the European Commission. EUF is a network of 96 higher education institutions from 32 countries, focused on accelerating the modernisation of the European Higher Education Area.

Among the topics discussed were the European Student Card initiative and other digital solutions being developed by the European Commission.

This topic is of great interest to us, as we are constantly developing our platform KSU24, which manages educational and business processes at the university. Our concept of a ‘university in your smartphone’ and active participation in international Erasmus+ projects are helping to integrate KSU into the European educational environment — commented Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.

The visit also includes a number of upcoming meetings, including discussions with partners regarding preparations for the 20th anniversary ICTERI-2025 international conference.

This major event, co-founded by Kherson State University and Université Côte d’Azur, will be hosted by the French university in September 2025.
