On May 30, a working meeting was held as part of the SmartPL project implementation with the participation of Professor Vitalii Kobets, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor at the Department of Informatics and Software Engineering at Kherson State University; and Mykola Kozlenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Information Technologies at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and Data Scientist (Data Science Group) at SoftServe.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the development of multi-level feedback mechanisms and the creation of comprehensive tests for assessing the professional competencies of data analysts in line with modern ICT requirements and current market needs. These tests are intended for students specializing in data analytics and machine learning models and are aligned with the Essential Skills and Competencies framework of ESCO (European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations classification).

The SmartPL platform supports the assessment of the following key competencies:

• Big data analysis
• Application of statistical analysis methods
• Data collection and integration using ICT tools
• Defining data quality criteria and implementing data cleaning processes
• Data normalization, interpretation, and management
• Analytical computations and data processing methods
• Working with databases and data samples
• Conducting data analysis and interpreting results
