Professor Vitaliy M. Kobets from the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, along with PhD students Vladyslav Yatsiuta and Oleksii Ivanov from the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics, were invited to participate in the prestigious International Workshop "Advances & Challenges in Computing (A2C)", which took place on September 24, 2025.
At the workshop, which was organized, in particular, by West Ukrainian National University in Ternopil, Professor Vitaliy M. Kobets presented a report on the topic: "Application of RFM-D Analysis for Customer Segmentation Using Machine Learning".
This topic, which concerns the application of RFM-D analysis for customer segmentation using machine learning, is extremely relevant in the field of information technologies and computer science. The presentation sparked considerable interest among the workshop participants, confirming the high level of scientific research conducted at our Faculty and at Kherson State University (KSU) in general.
Furthermore, Vladyslav Yatsiuta and Oleksii Ivanov successfully presented the results of their research. Their joint report, prepared together with Professor Kobets, was dedicated to the topic: "Multimodal NLP Techniques for Processing Unstructured Financial Information".
Participation in such international events is key for the integration of domestic science into the global scientific community, for the exchange of experience, and for establishing new partnerships.
