Meeting on the prospects for the development of educational programs in the field of physical culture and sports

As part of inter-university cooperation, an important meeting of representatives of three higher education institutions took place at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.

During the meeting, the content, structure, and prospects for the development of the following educational programs were discussed:

• A4.11 Secondary education (Physical education)

• A7 Physical education and sports

• A7 Adaptive sports

Participants discussed current challenges facing the training of specialists in the field of physical education, in particular:

• the need to update curricula in line with current labor market requirements;

• the integration of innovative technologies, including digital tools and artificial intelligence;

• strengthening the practical component through cooperation with fitness clubs, inclusive institutions, and sports organizations;

• developing adaptive sports as an important component of inclusive education.

The meeting participants outlined the following prospects:

• creation of joint inter-university projects and academic mobility programs;

• development of methodological recommendations for teaching adaptive sports;

• holding joint scientific and practical conferences and seminars;

• exchange of experience in the implementation of dual education and practice-oriented training;

• introduction of academic exchange between university teachers within the framework of a joint lecture hall, which will allow for the dissemination of best teaching practices, discussion of modern scientific approaches, and the formation of a unified educational space in the field of physical culture and sports.

The meeting was an important step towards consolidating the efforts of Ukraine's leading universities to improve the quality of training for specialists in the field of physical culture, sports, and rehabilitation.
