The delegation included over 50 participants - school and kindergarten directors. Anastasiia Volianiuk and Yevheniia Morozova presented the experience of digital transformation in teacher education at Kherson State University during the war and relocation. They provided a detailed overview of organizing the educational process during occupation and daily shelling: the use of blended learning formats, online communities, cloud services, and the integration of artificial intelligence to maintain the quality of education. The speakers paid special attention to the principles of digital transformation in teacher education under challenging conditions. The main principle is digital transformation within the concept of three-subject didactics, which ensures interaction between the teacher, the student, and the ICT-based pedagogical environment. Other principles include continuity and flexibility of learning, the development of digital competencies for students and teachers, adaptive and personalized learning, AI integration, effective communication, accessibility and inclusiveness, quality and safety assurance in the educational environment, innovation and technological integration, and continuous support from the educational institution. In addition to the Kherson State University representatives, leading experts from FHNW also spoke at the event: Prof. Dr. Olena Makarova opened the program and presented the activities of the FHNW School of Education, Prof. Dr. Ulla Klingowski discussed lifelong learning strategies and policies in Switzerland, and Prof. Dr. Michael Rullof shared his experience implementing the BYOD (“Bring Your Own Device”) model during final exams in upper secondary school. The Institute of International Academic and Scientific Cooperation (IIASC) was also presented by Dr. Oksana Tsmots. The visit was part of a program for experience exchange and academic discussions initiated by IIASC, aimed at spreading innovative and digital education practices among educational institutions in Switzerland and Ukraine. The event also included discussions on lifelong learning strategies and the implementation of modern technologies in teacher education. The experience presented by Anastasiia Volianiuk and Yevheniia Morozova highlighted the importance of innovative approaches to teacher training in crisis conditions and the role of digital technologies in ensuring continuity of education.
