The start of the FCSFM full-time study week marks the beginning of new good deeds: FCNPM student continues blood donation

Today, November 24, the week of full-time study began for students of the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics (FCNPM) of Kherson State University in Ivano-Frankivsk. This event became an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the high civic and moral qualities inherent in our students. Exactly this example was set by Oleksandr Stavychnyi, a 2nd-year master's student of the Secondary Education (Physics) educational program. On the first day of the week, he visited the blood transfusion center and made a planned blood donation.

For the student, this is not a one-time act but a regular mission. He is fully aware that every donation he makes is a direct and vital contribution to saving seriously wounded soldiers/defenders, victims of road accidents, oncological and hematological patients, as well as children who require daily transfusions. The student has been regularly donating blood since 2021. Oleksandr has the rare first negative blood type (O Rh-), which is universal and can save the life of any person in need of an urgent transfusion. He encourages everyone interested to join the donation movement, regularly monitoring the current needs published on official resources, particularly DonorUA.

The Faculty of Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics is proud of such students, whose actions demonstrate that true education is not only profound knowledge but also high responsibility, humanity, and an active civic position.
