"10 Commandments in the Digital Age": A Lecture That United Universities, Generations, and Views

On November 26, the lecture "10 Commandments in the Digital Age. Soft Skills 5.0" was held, delivered by Maksym Oleksandrovych Vinnyk, Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering.

The event took place as part of the in-person study week and gathered not only students of the FCSPM of KSU but also students of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, as well as PhD students and lecturers from both universities.

The topic of the lecture proved to be simultaneously modern, sharp, and debatable.

Students openly discussed:

  • the role of artificial intelligence in human life;
  • the danger of fakes, algorithms, and media bubbles;
  • Soft Skills 5.0 as a key to autonomy and critical thinking;
  • values that remain unchanged even in a world of digital turbulence.

The lecture touched the hearts and minds of those who aspire to work in IT, education, and science.

After all, behind technology stands the main thing — the human being, their moral core, and the ability to think independently.

What do the participants say?

  • “Relevant.”
  • “Provocative.”
  • “Makes you think.”
  • “About what everyone feels but doesn't always voice.”

Why is this important?

Because the digital age is not just about innovations, AI, and gigabytes of data.

It is about choice. About responsibility. About the human. And today, students from two universities were once again convinced: the ability to think critically, remain honest, verify information, and take responsibility for one's own decisions are the skills of the future.

We are grateful to everyone who joined the event, and we are already preparing the next events that will combine science, technology, and the humanitarian dimension of education.

FCSPM KSU — the territory of modern thinking.
Moving forward together!
