That is why today, November 27, representatives of the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics met with 9th-grade students of Ivano-Frankivsk Lyceum No. 5.
With the 10th and 11th grades still ahead, the students have the perfect opportunity to make a deliberate and conscious choice about their future profession—without any rush.
The students met with:
Tetiana Honcharenko — Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor at the Department of Physics;
Volodymyr Tatochenko — Head of the Department of Algebra, Geometry, and Mathematical Analysis;
Maksym Poltoratskyi — Assistant to the Rector for Digitalization, Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering.
The main goal of the meeting was to show that exact sciences are interesting, modern, and promising. Students were told why it is worth studying mathematics and physics right now and how this knowledge becomes a foundation for a career, particularly in IT.
The faculty team presented the study programs available for future admission.
We believe that among today's ninth-graders are our future students who have every chance to become brilliant programmers, innovative teachers, or scientists. We thank the administration of Lyceum No. 5 for the warm welcome and the opportunity to communicate with the active youth!
