On December 4, 2025, within the framework of the competition for the position of Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, and Social Work, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History, and Sociology, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Iryna Shaposhnykova, delivered an open lecture on the topic “Black Rhetoric: Manipulative Technologies in Rhetoric” as part of the educational component “Rhetoric” for students of the specialties Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, and History.
The lecture was attended by academic and teaching staff of the department and faculty, representatives of the academic office, the Head of the Socio-Psychological Service Daria Domanchuk, as well as master’s students of the specialty Social Work and Counseling. After the lecture, a meeting of the department was held, during which the academic staff discussed the open lecture, emphasizing its high methodological and scientific level. A unanimous decision was made to recognize the high quality of Professor Iryna Shaposhnykova’s lecture for further participation in the competition for the vacant position of Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, and Social Work.
