On November 25, 2025, as part of the industrial practice, an open lecture was given by Volodymyr Ostrikov, a second-year master's student of the Physical Culture and Sports program, Master of Sports of Ukraine in athletics, Master of Sports of Ukraine in swimming and triathlon, IRONMAN finisher, founder of the running club “team404” and sports laboratory “ENDURANCE HUB”, author of the YouTube channel “team404”, who presented a comprehensive vision of building a successful coaching career.
The lecture covered:
• the competency profile of a high-level coach and factors affecting their professional value in the services market;
• educational and informal resources that ensure the growth of a specialist's financial capacity;
• employment mechanisms and entrepreneurial strategies aimed at an income of over 1,000 USD per month;
• the role of personal branding and digital platforms in promoting coaching services.
The event combined an analytical presentation of theoretical principles with demonstrations of practical cases, which significantly increased its applied value for students. Active dialogue, professional questions from participants, and discussions of real situations from sports practice contributed to the formation of a comprehensive understanding of the modern role of a coach.
