Professor of the Department of Algebra, Geometry, and Mathematical Analysis Delivered a Lecture on "Non-standard Problems and Creative Thinking: Methodological Life Hacks for Preparing Students for Olympiads"

On December 11, 2025, Valeriy Ivanovych Kuzmych, Professor of the Department of Algebra, Geometry, and Mathematical Analysis, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and Associate Professor, delivered a lecture to physics and mathematics teachers of the Kherson region on the topic: "Non-standard Problems and Creative Thinking: Methodological Life Hacks for Preparing Students for Olympiads." About one hundred teachers from the region attended the lecture.

The lecturer discussed the methodology of using non-standard problems in mathematics lessons and extracurricular activities to boost schoolchildren's interest in studying the subject. The lecturer presented a wide variety of problems that, when used correctly, can significantly enhance student engagement and help prepare top students for Olympiads and research activities.

During the lecture, the attendees were also introduced to promotional materials for the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics regarding admission to the faculty's programs in 2026.
