Who can apply: 2nd-5th year higher education students.
The Austrian partner provides:
1 scholarship from the university (800 euros per month)
Students are responsible for their own accommodation costs.
Scholarship period: October 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027
Required documents:
1. Application for participation in the competition with the dean's visa and indication of the average grade point average (can be obtained from the International Relations Department ).
2. A motivation letter in English from the candidate (at least one page in length) - in accordance with the recommendations provided (Guideline_Motivation_Letter_JS_Incoming_v20240624.pdf
3. A letter of recommendation from a teacher/curator/dean, written in English - in accordance with the recommendations provided (Guideline_Recommendation_Letter_JS_Incoming_v20240624.pdf
4. Original extract from the individual study plan for the entire period of study, signed by the rector in Ukrainian and translated into English (to obtain an extract, please contact the dean's office of your faculty).
5. A scanned copy of your school certificate and supplement (original) and a translation into English (for bachelors) (you can do the translation yourself and submit it for verification to the International Relations Department ).
6. A scanned copy of your bachelor's degree and a translation into English (for master's students) (you can do the translation yourself and submit it for verification to the International Relations Department ).
7. A high-quality photo in electronic format (as for a visa).
8. A scanned copy of your passport.
Documents must be submitted to the Department of International Initiatives and Project Activities by January 23, 2026.
On the day of the competition, participants must be present and ready to introduce themselves to the jury members and explain their motivation for studying for a semester at the Alpine-Adriatic University in Klagenfurt (Republic of Austria). On this day, based on the participants' speeches and presentations, the jury members will select students who will participate in a semester of study at the Alpine-Adriatic University in Klagenfurt (Republic of Austria).
