KSU Team Participates in the Event Dedicated to the Erasmus+ Program

Representatives from Kherson State University participated in a large-scale event focused on the topic “The European Union’s Erasmus+ Program: Current Opportunities for Ukrainian Participants.”

Kherson State University was represented by Veronika Denysenko, Vice-Rector for International,

Social and Humanitarian, Research and Education Affairs; Maksym Poltoratskyi, Assistant to the Rector for Digital Transformation; and Alina Hlushko, Specialist of the International Relations Department.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.

During the event, key aspects of Ukraine’s participation in the EU Erasmus+ Program were discussed, and current opportunities for educational institutions, researchers, students, and the wider educational community were presented.

The main topics of discussion included:

  • National priorities in the field of education for participation in the Erasmus+ 2026 calls. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mykola Trofymenko, outlined the strategic directions of educational development and their alignment with the program requirements, emphasizing the importance of institutional development and the implementation of innovative approaches.
  • Implementation of international technical assistance projects with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as the beneficiary. Tetiana Movchan, Head of the Expert Group of the Ministry, presented the current state of project implementation and its impact on the modernization of Ukraine’s education system, particularly in the areas of digitalization, quality management, and international cooperation.
  • Specific features of the Erasmus+ 2026 calls for Ukrainian higher education institutions. Svitlana Shytikova, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, provided explanations regarding new requirements, priorities, and application procedures, as well as recommendations on strengthening project proposals and partnerships.

Representatives of Kherson State University received information on upcoming Erasmus+ calls and had the opportunity to establish professional contacts for the further development of international cooperation.
