Rectors of KSU and Pomeranian University in Słupsk Meet Double Degree Students

A meeting took place at the Pomeranian University in Słupsk (Poland) between the Rector of Kherson State University, Oleksandr Spivakovskiy, and Rector Zbigniew Osadowski with KSU students currently enrolled in the double degree program.

Among the participants was Vladyslav Petukhov, a student of the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics (FCSPM), who is currently studying in Poland as part of this international academic initiative.

“Vladyslav is the son of a fallen defender of Ukraine. I addressed him with words of gratitude for his fortitude and his determination to study for the sake of Ukraine’s recovery. On a personal note, I presented him with a tablet to make his studies and communication more comfortable and efficient,” noted KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.

A double degree program is more than just “another document”; it is:

  • Integration into the European community: studying according to EU standards.

  • Professional transformation: combining Ukrainian and Polish practical expertise.

  • Hard & Soft Skills: improving English and Polish language proficiency in a professional environment.

As a memento of their home university, Vladyslav and other program participants received branded KSU hoodies.

“It is symbolic, yet important: no matter where our students study, they remain a part of our university community,” the Rector emphasized. 💙💛

💪 We are proud of Vladyslav and wish him a successful completion of the semester!
