Rector of Kherson State University Holds Working Meetings at Pomeranian University in Słupsk
The parties discussed further development of interuniversity cooperation, implementation of joint educational and research initiatives, and expansion of academic mobility programs.
Plans include a visit by representatives of Pomeranian University to Ivano-Frankivsk and communication with the teams of Kherson State University and Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
Oleksandr Spivakovskiy emphasized that such trilateral cooperation creates not merely a partnership but a shared educational space of trust and development.
A particularly warm meeting was held with students of KSU who are studying under the double degree program.
“We discussed their academic experience, adaptation, and professional horizons. It is important to see that they represent the university with dignity and are confidently integrating into the international environment,” the Rector of KSU noted.
Special attention was also given to the dissemination of results of the international project Academies4Ukraine, coordinated by Gianluca Vagnarelli. During the meeting, the handbook “Enhancing exchange students’ everyday well-being and sense of belonging in times of collective crisis”, developed by University of Helsinki, as well as the documentary film “Academic Resilience Stories from Ukraine” were presented.
“These initiatives address what matters most: universities can be a pillar of society even in the most difficult times. I thank our colleagues from Pomeranian University for their support, openness, and strategic partnership. International partnership is not a formality. It is trust that withstands the test of time and war,” Oleksandr Spivakovskiy emphasized.
