Yesterday, on March 10, 2026, a warm and solemn meeting was held at the Kherson State University office in Ivano-Frankivsk, along with an online broadcast of a university-wide cultural and artistic event dedicated to the creative legacy of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko. The poetry café “Well, what are words, it would seem…”
The event featured open readings of poetic works, lyrical excerpts, and original interpretations of Taras Shevchenko’s poetry.
The Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work was represented by Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Volodymyr Oleksiiovych Hurich, who read the poem “The Village”, as well as third‑year Social Work student and Chair of the FPIS Student Council, Rostyslav Yevsiukov, who performed the poem “Testament”. The event’s honorary guest was Professor Iryna Vasylivna Shaposhnykova, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Doctor of Social Sciences.
