Training within the Erasmus+ international project BURN ("Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post-) War Ukrainian Nation").

On March 3, as part of the international project BURN (Erasmus +), the first wave of the 16-hour "Sensitivity Training for university employees who work with students affected by the war" began at the university.

The event was held on the basis of the Center for Psychological Stability and Well-Being of KhSU, which was started by Tyor Larisa Viktorivna, Ph.D., Assoc. Department of Psychology of KSU.
During the training they talked about:
- types of psychological trauma and their impact on education;
- neurobiology of trauma;
- how traumatic experience affects memory, concentration and emotions;
- how the teacher can respond supportively, creating a safe space.
Participants worked with real cases, discussed the impact of traumatic experiences on learning and practical tools to support students and the importance of creating a safe and supportive educational environment.
