The LUKE Joint Call (Horizon Europe), an international call for proposals to fund research and innovation projects, has been announced, aimed at fostering scientific cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union.
The LUKE Joint Call (Linking Ukraine to the European Research Area) international competition has been announced as part of the Horizon Europe program. The competition aims to integrate Ukraine into the European Research Area (ERA), establish international research consortia, and foster collaboration between Ukrainian and European researchers.
Key areas of support include:
energy and renewable energy;
cybersecurity;
medicine and healthcare;
social sciences and humanities.
Project duration is 18 months (2027–2028).Funding: up to 4 million UAH from the NFDU and up to 100,000 euros from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 15, 2026.
In preparation for the call for proposals, informational events and partner matchmaking sessions will also be held to help identify international partners.
