On 8 April 2026, programme coordinators, academic supervisors, staff from the Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Department, and third-level (postgraduate) students took part in a scientific and methodological webinar entitled ‘The Educational Process in Light of the Requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Academic Integrity”’.
The event was hosted by Yevhen Nikolaev, a member of the Supervisory Board of KSU. He emphasised that this document will come into force on 31 July 2026 and will serve as the foundational act governing ethical and legal standards in educational and scientific activities.
The main focus was on the legislative changes that will come into force as early as the new academic year.
As Yevhen Nikolaiev noted, the implementation of these regulations will require higher education institutions to update their internal regulations and raise awareness among all participants in the educational process.
Understanding these changes is critically important for the academic community, as adherence to academic integrity is a prerequisite for the quality of education and the recognition of academic achievements.
