On April 20, 2026, Valerii Ivanovych Kuzmych, Associate Professor of the Department of Algebra, Geometry, and Mathematical Analysis and Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, delivered a lecture for physics and mathematics teachers of the Kherson region. The lecture was titled: "Designing a Modern Educational Process for Physics Studies through the Integration of Natural Sciences and Mathematics." The session was attended by 24 teachers.
The lecturer discussed methodologies for incorporating applied and non-standard problems into mathematics and physics lessons, as well as extracurricular activities, to enhance students' interest in these subjects. Professor Kuzmych presented a wide range of diverse problems which, when implemented effectively, can significantly increase student engagement in mathematics and physics, and assist in preparing top students for academic Olympiads and research projects.
During the lecture, the participants were also presented with promotional materials from the Faculty of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics regarding admissions for the faculty's programs in 2026.
