On April 23, 2026, a meeting was held dedicated to the issues of inclusion and the use of Braille in the educational environment.
The keynote speakers were representatives of our faculty: Elvira Andriiv, a 2nd-year student majoring in Software Engineering, under the supervision of Maksym Poltoratskyi, PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering and Assistant to the Rector for Strategic Issues.
They presented a unique project developed within the university that focuses on the advancement of inclusive practices. Participants discussed the technical aspects of adapting educational materials using Braille and the integration of software solutions into the modern educational space.
Representatives of the Student Parliament also joined the event.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format, with the physical hub located at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Ivan Franko.
