In March 2026, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, and Social Work T. M. Shvets took part in the webinar “Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems, and Prospects”, organized by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the Ethics Committee of the National Agency, the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service, the Integrity Office of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, and Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The webinar aimed to develop a deep understanding of the importance of adhering to academic integrity in scientific and educational activities. Its purpose was to provide a comprehensive understanding of new regulatory and institutional requirements in the field of academic integrity following the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Academic Integrity”, to outline practical mechanisms for their implementation in university educational programs and internal quality assurance systems, and to promote the formation of a culture of integrity as a component of the professional and personal ethics of participants in the educational process. An important part of the event was the final assessment of learning outcomes, which T. M. Shvets successfully completed, as confirmed by the certificate issued by the organizers.
The certificate received by T. M. Shvets confirms her successful completion of a short-term professional development program (0.5 ECTS credits) based on the materials of the webinar “Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems, and Prospects”. It also verifies her participation in the webinar, successful completion of the final assessment, and acquisition of relevant learning outcomes in the field of academic integrity. These results demonstrate T. M. Shvets’s commitment to professional development, responsible application of integrity principles in educational and scientific activities, and continuous improvement of professional practice.
