Bullying does not happen overnight. It is preceded by indifference, an inability to defend one's own boundaries, a lack of understanding of others' feelings, and a shortage of constructive communication skills.
That is why the topics of the elective course "ANTIBULLYING: Countering and Preventing Harassment" remain as relevant as ever. Future educators explored the issues of manipulation, assertive behavior, leadership development, tolerance, and a responsible attitude toward oneself and others. Among the presented topics were:
"How to Avoid Falling into a Manipulator's Trap"
"Psychological Aikido"
"Assertive Behavior Skills"
"I Dare You!" (translating "А тобі слабо?")
"How to Raise a Tolerant Leader and an Engaged Citizen"
"Frankly About Intimate Things"
"My Superpower" and others.
Under the guidance of A. Horlova, Master’s students from various faculties presented their own projects designed for children, parents, and educators. Each project is not only the result of creative exploration and scientific reflection on the problem but also a practical resource for building a safe educational environment where mutual respect, support, and trust prevail.
We teach not just knowledge, but the skill of being a Human.
