Scientific Dialogue Without Borders: Linguistic Horizons of the 21st Century

On 2–3 June 2026, the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Linguistic Horizons of the 21st Century’ took place. The event was organised by the Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology, Journalism and Arts, and the Department of English Philology and World Literature named after Professor Oleg Mishukov.
Among the international scholars who delivered presentations were professors from universities in the United Kingdom (Leeds, Nottingham, Arden – Global University System), Slovenia (University of Nova Gorica), Germany (Konstanz University of Applied Sciences), Bulgaria (American School, Varna) and Poland (AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków).

The academic community listened with great interest to the presentations given by representatives of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Prof. L.M. Chernovaty, O.V. Rebriy), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Assoc. Prof. B. Kolodiy, Y. Loboda), Boris Grinchenko University of Kyiv (Prof. O.E. Bondareva), Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, I.I. Mechnikov Odessa National University (Prof. M.O. Knyazyan) and other domestic institutions.
A total of 165 academic papers were submitted to the conference, presenting the results of the latest research in the fields of linguistics, translation studies, intercultural communication, literary studies and media education. Conference participants highlighted the substance of the presentations, the importance of the issues discussed and their practical relevance.
