Today, on March 17, 2021, Vita Saprykina, Chief Specialist for Ensuring the Activities of the Commissioner of the European Court of Human Rights of the Sector of Judicial Work and International Cooperation in the Kherson Region of the Department of Judicial Work and International Legal Assistance of the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice in the format of a webinar conducted a meeting on the topic "Key aspects of consideration of applications by the ECHR".
The webinar was attended by teachers of the Faculty of Business and Law, employees of the legal department, as well as students of Kherson State University, majoring in "Law" and "International Law". Teachers and graduates of Uzhhorod National University also joined the webinar.

During the meeting, webinar participants gained new knowledge about the activities of the European Court of Human Rights, the main tasks of the European Court of Human Rights Commissioner, the conditions of admissibility of applications to the ECHR and the peculiarities of their submission, deepened their knowledge of the content of fundamental rights human rights and fundamental freedoms.
The participants of the webinar were extremely interested in the ratio of the number of applications filed with the ECHR against the state of Ukraine (compared to other states), as well as the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in 2020 in terms of violated rights and freedoms under the Convention.
