80th anniversary of the tragedy of Babyn Yar

On October 29, Ukraine commemorates the victims of Babyn Yar. On October 29 and 30, more than 33,000 Jews were shot dead in the Babyn Yar tract in Kyiv. You can often hear the phrase "our Babyn Yar" from residents and natives of Bar, Kharkiv, Gomel, Rostov and many cities and towns where mass shootings of Jews took place.
