On November 24, 2023, the traditional VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Sociocultural and Psychological Dimensions of Personality Formation" was held at the Department of Psychology of Kherson State University.

Within the framework of the conference, the dispositional mental states of internally displaced scientific and pedagogical workers in the conditions of martial law were considered (the collective work was presented by Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Ihor Stepanovych Popovych, Department of Psychology, Kherson State University), and the prospects for the development of psychological education in Ukraine in wartime were discussed. and postwar periods with the head of the department of general, age-related and social psychology named after M.A. Skoka of T.G. Shevchenko Chernihiv Collegium National University, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Oleksandr Yuriyovich Drozdov, with a senior research associate of the Laboratory of Methodology and Theory of Psychology of the Institute of Psychology named after H.S. Kostyuk of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, candidate of psychological sciences Svitlana Oleksiivna Lukomskaya revealed the psychological features of telling children bad news, and also talked about the promotion of a healthy personal lifestyle in the conditions of war with Maryna Serhiyivna Dvornyk, candidate of psychological sciences, senior researcher, head of the laboratory of social psychology of personality at the Institute of Social and of political psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.At the panel discussion, they discussed the use of narrative therapy in working with refugees (they talked with Kateryna Leonidovna Milyutina, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, professor of the Department of Developmental Psychology, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University), revealed the peculiarities of psychological work with soldiers who have survived amputation (speaker - Maksym Volodymyrovych Reutsky , candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor of the psychology department of Dnipro Humanities University, consultant psychologist), and also learned about the results of the project "Strengthening the capacity of health care institutions and building the resilience of medical workers" (speaker - Olena Mykolaivna Tanasiychuk, candidate of psychological sciences, Head of the Department of Psychology at KSU, methodologist of the project). In general, only positive reviews, words of support and gratitude were heard from the conference participants!
