On June 10-11, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work Shvets T.M. took part in the forum "Days of Educational Leadership", organized by the National University "Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic". The forum was held with the support of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, the National Qualifications Agency, the National Service of Ukraine for Civil Service Issues, the All-Ukrainian Association of Regional Employer Organizations of Enterprises of the Metallurgical Complex "Federation of Metallurgists of Ukraine", and the NGO "Progressive".
Forum topic: "University 2030: Education of the Future"
The goal of the forum: to create a space for strategic dialogue and the formation of a common vision of the transformation of universities as active agents of social change that provide quality education, support innovation, contribute to the development of communities and respond to the challenges of the economy of the future.
The forum aimed to unite the efforts of educators, business, government, and the civil sector to build new models of partnership, project interaction, and training specialists capable of operating in conditions of rapid change and uncertainty.
Several platforms operated within the framework of the forum:
Platform 1. University and Business: From Practice to Partnership (The discussion platform was aimed at discussing formats of cooperation between universities and business in the context of rapid changes in the labor market. It was about training a new generation of specialists, developing dual education, involving mentors and practitioners in learning, integrating business into the educational process and university infrastructure. Of particular interest was the discussion of the model of co-financing research, launching joint incubation programs, supporting startups, forming industry clusters, and partnerships in campus development. The focus of the discussion was on how to make these relationships systemic, long-term, and mutually beneficial for all parties).
Platform 2. Education through action: pro-sociality, projects, partnerships, impact (The discussion platform is dedicated to the role of the university as an active participant in social transformations. The focus is on how project activities, partnerships with local communities, city authorities, business and public organizations change the educational process, contribute to the formation of relevant skills, support youth initiatives and open up new opportunities for the sustainable development of territories. Universities are increasingly actively involved in solving local challenges - in the areas of urbanism, ecology, mobility, culture, youth employment. The issues discussed were how to create effective models of cooperation that encompass project work, career services, internships, open urban spaces and clusters that are formed around university initiatives. Particular attention was paid to the challenges faced by such interaction - from regulatory and managerial to resource, as well as mechanisms for assessing its impact on education, community and economy).
The following case sessions were noteworthy: “A Displaced University as a Community Resource: Models of Cooperation and Mutual Support”, “Problems and Prospects for Internationalization of Frontline Universities in Wartime”, “From Idea to Result: Academic and International Partnerships in Action”.
The second day of the forum was also interesting: participants worked on the topic “Education of Responsible Persons: Youth Policy, Interaction, Leadership” and within the framework of the panel discussion “Balance between Education, Career and Activity: Challenges and Opportunities”.
According to the results of the forum, Shvets T.M. received a certificate of participation (0.5 ECTS).
