From March 10 to March 14, a training visit within the project of the Erasmus+ Burn-“Boosting University Psychological Resiliens and Wellbeing in (Post-) War UKRAINIAN NATION (“ Increasing psychological stability and well-being universities (after- ” Tartu, Tallinn, Estonia).

On March 12, a meeting for entrants took place at the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology. About 100 entrants have joined the Workshop "Education Pro". Among the participants were children who are now studying abroad.

From March 10 to March 14, a study visit to Estonia within the Erasmus Project+ Burn-"Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post-) War UKRAINIAN Nation" ("Strengthening of Psychological Stands and War). Participants from five Ukrainian universities and three European universities (University of Tartu, IPU, UL) exchange experience and get acquainted with European approaches to psychological support at universities. From the Kherson State University, the visit is attended by: Tatiana Korniychuk-Head of the Center for Psychological Stability and Well-being (CPSB), Maria Postteket-Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology, Office Manager of the Project.

On February 18, the Kherson State University took a solemn presentation of diplomas to graduates of the second (master's) higher education. We wish the master's psychologists of good psychological health, stress resistance, self -realization in professional activity.

On 13 January 2025, as part of the Erasmus+ BURN project - ‘Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post-) War Ukrainian Nation’ - representatives of the KSU Department of Psychology together with Ukrainian partners took part in the Winter School. The training is aimed at preparing specialists who will provide psychological support at the Centre for Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing.

The Department of Psychology of Kherson State University, consisting of (project coordinator, Professor Igor Popovych; project lecturer and content developer, Associate Professor Natalia Tavrovetska; head (coordinator) of the Center for Psychological Resilience and Well-being (CPSW), lecturer Valentyna Kalenchuk, began their week-long study visit to the International Psychoanalytic University (IPU) (Germany, Berlin) on November 4, 2024.

Study visit of the ERASMUS+ BURN project of KSU teachers on the basis of the University of Latvia was successfully completed

From September 23 to 27, 2024, a study visit took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ BURN program project - "Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post-) War Ukrainian Nation" ) on the basis of the University of Latvia in the city of Riga, Latvia. The project is aimed at spreading best practices in the field of psychological support of university communities affected by the war.

Professor of the department, doctor of psychological sciences Anzhelika Volodymyrivna Kolli-Shamne completed an internship at the Center d'accueil des réfugiés de ORS - Secteur Ukraine, "Organization pour les services aux réfugiés" à Fribourg (Suisse). (Refugee Reception Center - Ukrainian Sector, "Refugee Aid Organization" in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland). In the canton of Fribourg, the cantonal Department of Health and Social Affairs (DSAS) has authorized ORS Serco to provide professional assistance to refugees, starting with their accommodation and ending with integration into society.

Congratulations to Ivan Romanovych Krupnyk, the scientific director of the winner of the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for the defense of research works of students and members of the city society "Search" 2023/24. Winner (1st place)!!! Secondary education student (10-IF grade student) (Kherson Lyceum of the Kherson Regional Council) Chekotun Arina. The topic of the scientific work: "Memes as a phenomenon of psychological protection of the individual during the war in Ukraine."

On November 24, 2023, the traditional VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Sociocultural and Psychological Dimensions of Personality Formation" was held at the Department of Psychology of Kherson State University.

On October 11, 2023, Valentina Kalenchuk successfully defended her dissertation. Congratulations to the winner and the scientific supervisor!

Today at the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology, an important event took place, the pre-defense of the dissertation study of the fourth year of the third (educational and scientific) level of the specialty 053 Psychology Kalenchuk of Valentina Oleksandrivna.

The Department of Psychology and the guarantors of the first (bachelor's), second (master's) and third (educational-scientific) levels of higher education held final meetings on the renewal of educational programs.

Today we want to share our scientific achievements! The results of research work for 2022 were made public at the academic council of KhSU, which took place on January 30, 2023. and the department of psychology is the first in the ranking in terms of publication activity! We would like to note separately that the first prize at the department and university belongs to Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Ihor Stepanovych Popovych. Congratulations!

The scientific journal "Insight: psychological dimensions of society" has been accepted into the Scopus scientometric database. The Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) reviewed the application and approved the publication's inclusion.
